Be grateful ...every day
We live life as it comes and try make it work at every level. May it be work, family, our own issues you name it... it's profoundly necessary to feel the gratitude. This opens up your awareness and energy levels rise if you practice this on a daily basis. It goes hand in hand with many factors:

Exercise regularly
Exercise is not to be confused with heavy work-out practices. There are many levels of exercising for every age. In the orient it has been part of a daily practice by all ages for centuries and integrated also known as Tai-Chi. If you are curious... check it out to see if there is a studio in your area to see if it flows with you.

Grounding
Grounding yourself is essential to stay in contact with nature and therefore with your Life Force Energy. Plant your bare feet into sand or grass as often as possible (in the northern hemisphere in your home) to tap into the healing benefits of nature. You will feel it.

Organic food
If it is feasible to eat pure foods...consider this point. Avoid processed or unnatural ingredients that alone makes a big difference already. It is not always available and if for whichever reasons it is only possible to buy conventionally grown fruits and vegetables; adding herbs and natural spices is ALL you need. Laugh as much as you can!
Either by yourself watching a comedy or with friends and family.... it switches and elevates your energy.

Rest & sleep
In the southern hemisphere the SIESTA is so very important. Not only because of the weather conditions it is scientifically proven that resting your body when possible is much more desirable and sleep helps the body regenerate in order to function. Make sure to get your hours of sleep. Your body needs to restore and the mind needs to rest (monkey mind) and re-connect. If the conscious mind is not at rest therefore your subconscious self cannot express itself. This brings imbalance of your thoughts and affects your emotions. Everything is connected.
Breathe deep
Best way to describe is to imagine you are diving under water breathe deep to be able to go submerge for a moment....Just like that. If you find yourself in a situation where you feel anxiety .... try to breathe. There are many techniques you can look up on the internet or on Youtube for that matter.
